Ways to De-Stress: Meditation

What is meditation?

Meditation generally implies a mental exercise that focuses and quiets the mind in order to reach a deeper state of calm, awareness or consciousness. Such exercises can include concentration on breathing, repetition of a mantra, reflection or contemplation. A specific example is to sit quietly and focus on one simple visual object for 15 minutes.
